This uncredited tinted half-tone cigarette card of the dancer Sadréne Storri is No.3 in W.D. & H.O. Wills’s Scissors ‘Special Army Quality’ cigarettes series of 40 subjects, issued about 1915. Wills’s operated from Bristol and London.

Sadréne Storri’s brief career included an appearance as Lady Catherine Wheeler in the musical comedy The Pearl Girl, which opened at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London, on 25 September 1913 and closed after 254 performances on 16 May 1914. The principal members of the cast were Harry Welchman, Jack Hulbert, Lauri de Frece, Alfred Lester, Cicely Courtneidge, Marjorie Maxwell, Ada Blanche and Iris Hoey. Miss Hoey, who played Miranda Peploe, was succeeded in the part by Marie Blanche.

Miss Storri died in 1918 at the age of 19.
