This real photograph postcard, no. 1835 D in the Rotary Photographic Series, issued by the Rotary Photographic Co Ltd of London, probably in 1907, shows Margaret Parker as she appeared in the music hall sketch Sunshine, written by herself and William Fenton.

Margaret Parker, who appeared in a small part in the successful comic opera My Lady Molly (Terry's Theatre, London, 14 March 1903), in which on at least one occasion she deputised for Sybil Arundale, the leading lady, spent much of her career with her own small company touring music halls in various sketches. In March 1908 Miss Paker and her colleagues appeared in Sunshine, described as 'a glimpse of life,' Under the Seal and Lucky Jim at the Melborne Opera House before touring Australia.
