'Canary and Lederer have made several notable engagements the past week for their forthcoming production of The Lady Slavey. Bettina Girard, last season leading woman in In Old Kentucky, will appear as the adventurers, a London concert hall singer. Charles Dixon, Henry Norman, Lillian Thurgate, Jessie Carlisle, Mabel Potter, and Helen Marlborough will also be in the cast, and are rehearsing daily at the Casino [New York].'
(The Fort Wayne Journal, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sunday, 29 December 1895, p.6b)

Miss Marlborough's appearances seem to have been limited to the musical comedy stage, usually on tour in the United States. She was in the cast of Miss Dolly Dollars when it opened at the Knickerbocker Theatre, New York, on 4 September 1905. She also appeared in three films in 1915/16.
