Jose Collins

song sheet cover for Arthur Anderson and Oskar Geiger's 'Just for a While,'
featured by José Collins (1887-1958), English actress and singer,
in Robert Evett's English production of Oscar Straus's German musical comedy, The Last Waltz,
written by Robert Evett and Reginald Arkell, which opened at the Gaiety Theatre, London, on 7 October 1922
following its pre-London run at the Opera House, Manchester, beginning on 19 August 1922.

Other members of the cast included Alfred Wellesley, Billy Leonard, Bertram Wallis,
Amy Augarde and Vesta Sylva.
The London run of The Last Waltz closed after 283 performances on 9 June 1923.

José Collins recorded 'Just for a While' for the Columbia label (Col 911) in London about 24 November 1922.
