Shaun Glenville

Shaun Glenville (1884-1968), Irish born English actor and singer,
in the guise of Mother Goose in a publicity photograph for a production
of the pantomime Mother Goose.

Shaun Glenville and his wife, Dorothy Ward (1890-1987) appeared together in many pantomimes, of which several were different productions of Mother Goose; the earliest was at the Palace Theatre, Manchester, in 1922. For further information about this celebrated partnership, see Its-Behind-You.com.
